Please, Let it be a Good Result.

Hello there! Sorry for the long absence! Been busy with other stuffs. :D


Okay, it's been three weeks since I passed the first MS I've ever done. And I'm still waiting and praying for the result. Hopefully, a best result. I mean, I'm hoping that it will be approved. Ha-ha-ha! It's a dream come true for me to finished a Manuscript. It took me almost 3 weeks to finished that and I'm happy with the outcome.


I just really hope that it will be accepted. And if not, well, it's okay. Finishing that one was already an achievement on my part. Better luck next time for me. Ha-ha-ha! 

    But still, there's nothing wrong with a little make believe here and there. ♥

Can you Love like this?

It was a busy morning approximately 8:30am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry a he had an appointment at 9:00am. 

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing I would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. 


The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to he health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease.

As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that he had not recognized him in five years now. 


I was surprised ad asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."



True love neither physical, nor romantic. True love is acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

The Van Alen Legacy

Hello! Yey! Just finished reading this book. And I can say it's definitely the best book in the series. I have been a fan of this series when my friend Iya, introduced this to me. I got hooked instantly. Really hooked. I really like the character of Schuyler and Jack. Melissa did a great job in keeping me with suspense. 

    A lot of things change in this book. While one mystery begins to be solved, many more unravel around her as dark secrets are revealed, and the romance between her and Jack resurfaces. Things take on interesting twists and turns in The Van Alen Legacy and I was so thrilled with the outcomes. Especially with the love triangle between Schuyler, Jack and Oliver. 

   Plus, there's Schuyler's, Mimi's and Bliss's viewpoints which I enjoyed reading. Though, I want to read Jack's and Oliver's viewpoints. *blushes* - I sooo love them. ♥

  

   I am soooo excited to read the 5th installment of this series.I don't know where Melissa is going to take me next. I can't wait! Tatatata.

To blog or not to blog,

that is the question. 

It seems like everyone I know has a blog. After a few people suggested/asked/nagged that I should have a blog I decided maybe it would be a fun thing- so here it is! :)

But honestly, I was like having a hard time making this one. Because I really have no idea how. Haha! *blushes*

But then, I decided to start this blog in the hopes of sharing my stories, MIS-adventures (Oh yeah, I do have lots of misadventures in life) to those people who don't know me at all. It's nice to be able to express my self and let the people know what I'm feeling. :))
